Black History and Women in Horror Month merge in this list of 28 Black Women Horror Filmmakers

Ashlee Blackwell is sharing one woman horror filmmaker daily this month on Twitter, in honor of Black History month and Women in Horror month. Ashlee Blackwell is co-writer and co-producer of the documentary Horror Noire (available on Shudder), in addition to being the horror movie expert behind the scholarly website Graveyard Shift Sisters (“Purging the black female horror fan from the margins”).
